Who Do You Choose To Be Around?

Updated: Jan 21, 2019

My belief is, that there are people in this world who rather spend time around toxic people then to be alone. There might be a fear within us, that holds us back from doing things we love and surrounding ourselves with the people who love us. There are times in life when some people are too scared to let go of people who bring negativity in their life because they might be terrified of the thought of being alone. However, that fear might be nothing more than a set back that holds us back. Choosing to be around someone who creates toxic and negativity in our life, is not fair to yourself, and the people who love you the most.

If the thought of ending relationships with toxic people scares us than it might just be what we need in order to learn something and be able to move forward in our life. Most of us have a toxic person in our life, and that person can hold us back from way more than we can imagine.

Ask yourself, “If the people you choose to be around, love you unconditionally?” At the end of the day, it all comes down to, love, respect, kindness, patience, understanding. It is how you know if you are loved by someone unconditionally. Not by the words that they speak, but the actions that are being taken.

When you’re able to remove the negativity that surrounds you than you already gained something. That something is the extra time that you can now spend with the people who truly love, and accept you. It is not fair for the ones who love you to lose time with you in this precious life just so you can waist it on the ones who bring you no joy.

I have learned to not be afraid of change because change can be the best thing that happens to you. If one is able to change how they think about something, they can change how they feel about it. With that mindset, we will start seeing our whole life change around us. The way we speak, the way we think, the way we do things will be different. Most of all we give ourselves the time and opportunity to attract wonderful people in our life. Life is too short to not spend it with people who love you unconditionally.
