Book of the month:
The four agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
Oh this book! If you haven’t already read this, it is a must. It will change your life forever because every word of it is relatable for your daily life. It’s a book that you can grow from and one that you won’t want to put down
Word for January:
Because everything I have been doing this month has been done with love.
I know it might sound a little obsessive when it comes to planning. But I have truly been using this app all month to share appointments with others. And also to keep reminders in my phone for all the important dates that can’t fit onto my planner. This truly is the best way to keep in track of birthdays, appointments, school activities and sport events for the boys.
Quote for the month:
“The art of knowing is knowing what to ignore.” -Rumi
Because sleep was very limited this month.
The amount of time I have been putting into different projects have truly shows on my face this month (keep posted for exciting updates). I have definitely taken over more projects than I can handle, but that is the challenge of it all. On top of it, my 2 year old is definitely going through the terrible twos. And my almost 5 year old all of the sudden believes that there are monsters in his bed in the middle of the night.
I am a mom of 2 boys who constantly need my attention, and know how to keep me on my toes (wouldn’t change it for the world). However, I have to be ready at any given moment of the day to do anything and everything with them by my side. I like to look somewhat put together all while doing my “mommy thing”. A capsule wardrobe has saved me a great amount of energy, headache, and time. My days require me to make a million different decisions all while having the pressure of 4 little eyes looking up to me. So the last thing I want to think about is what to wear to look put together. With a capsule wardrobe I’m able to choose any outfit without making any decisions.
