The Reason People Come Into Your Life

Updated: Jan 21, 2019

Life sometimes gives us the gift of meeting people, who can change our life forever. Everyone whose life path crosses with ours is for a reason, we just have to be the ones who find out what that reason is. This can be the hardest part because that is where the lesson in life hides. It takes an incredible amount of patience, commitment and maybe even a heartache to go down the road of learning a life lesson. It might seem easier to become bitter and numb at the moment. Most people don't have the patience or the strength to go down that road.

Some people will come into our life just for a season, that can help us through something we might be going through. This is where most people you meet will fit into your life. Friends that we make in school, or the teachers that teach you unforgettable life skills for a semester. These people could just be there for a season. These people are a wonderful gift because they help you appreciate life, and prepare you for the next season of your life. With all the beauty that comes with having people in our life for a season, there is a heartache that comes with it. That heartache is letting go of those special someones when it is time for them to go into the next phase of their life. (read my blog on letting go here)

There are the special ones, who come for a reason. That reason can be to teach us a lesson and help us realize things that we never have before. These are the people who inspire us to reach the next level in our life. This can be a best friend, who helps you realize what you are missing from your life. It might even be someone you fall in love with who isn't meant to stay. Sometimes when we lose someone from our life it is because they are only meant come for a reason. We can get so caught up in the pain of them leaving, that we forget to search for the reason they were there in the first place. I believe that if we don't take the time in learning the reason we will have to face the same situation over again, and history will repeat itself.

Never forget about the people who come for a lifetime, the ones who have always been there and always will be. These people are your people, the ones who you have a rare connection with that sometimes can’t be explained. The people who always want to be there, and even if your miles apart you feel them in your heart regardless. These are the kind of people that don’t require your daily attention, but yet you know that you can always count on them when you need them. These people are very rare, and you might just have one of them in your life but learn to cherish them because they can mean the world to you.
